Camshaft Position Sensor

The Camshaft Position Sensor is a critical electronic component within a vehicle’s engine management system. Its primary function is to monitor the rotational position and speed of the camshaft(s). This real-time data is continuously relayed to the engine control unit (ECU), the vehicle’s main computer.
The ECU uses this precise information to perform vital calculations for optimal engine performance, efficiency, and emissions control.
